Tracking Chips in humans

I believe that implanted GPS tracking chips in children is a good idea. This is a great idea for young children especially to find missing children or even make parents feel more safe about their children going to play in the neighborhood. Although this should be completely the parents decisions not a law. This is because parents could be skeptical about the idea of having their children tracked. Especially if there is a third party that can track them such as the company of the tracking device or the government. What if the tracking devices got into the wrong hands? These are some of the things we must worry about and for it to work there muse be some serious security measure put in action. I do not feel the same way though for teenagers. Once a teen turns a certain age or is officially considered an adult they have the ability to turn off or remove the chip. Although having it as a backup for safety in case something does happen wouldn't be a bad idea. But for someone such as your parents to be able to track you at any time of the day is invasion of privacy. The whole reason of growing up is making your own decisions and this is impossible if your parents can see what your doing at all hours of the day. Also relating to seniors I also feel they have the right to decide if they would like the chip. There could be a few choices. The choices could be no i don't want it, yes i do want it, or yes but only if i go missing. My belief is those who can speak for themselves can choose if they want the chip or not.
